Peaky Blinders, Series 4

Peaky Blinders is the story of the Shelbys, a family of gangsters trying to make their off-track business legitimate in post-World War I Birmingham.  Written by Steven Knight for BBC Two, Peaky Blinders stars Cillian Murphy and Helen McCrory with a strong supporting cast that includes Paul Anderson, Joe Cole, Finn Cole — and occasionally Annabelle Wallis, Charlie MurphyTom Hardy and Charlotte Riley.

The purpose of this website is twofold.

First, it provides an archive for Peaky Blinders-related material.   The archives for Series 1-3 are fairly comprehensive; starting with Series 4, I’m only be archiving selected articles and reviews.  I’ll still link all articles and reviews on my Pinterest boards.

I’ve also provided links to Peaky Blinders-related social media.

Second, in A Peaky Blinders FanGirl Blog, I write about things that interest me — mostly characters and major themes.  Peaky Blinders makes me think (a lot), and the blog allows me to work through ideas.  I’m fascinated by the “narrative gaps” that are hallmarks of Steven Knight’s writing, and I’m interested in exploring what is unsaid in the text.

Just so you know, I’m (still) on #TeamGrace.  😍
